Chiltern Humanists

For the one life we have

Welcome

Chiltern Humanists exists to promote Humanism.  Our members are drawn from Amersham, Aylesbury, Beaconsfield, Berkhamsted, Chesham, Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Princes Risborough,Tring, Wendover and nearby towns and villages.  Through our regular monthly meetings and other events we provide fellowship and education for Humanists, Secularists and other non-religious people throughout the Chilterns.

At present our meetings are usually held in Wendover on the second Tuesday of the month, beginning at 7.45 pm, but occasionally we may vary the day or venue.   We are looking for a suitable place to meet in the Berkhamsted or Hemel Hempstead areas.

At some meetings outside speakers are invited to talk on a subject related to the interests of the Group; other meetings are used for a discussion on a relevant Humanist issue. We also have two social occasions every year.  Non-members are always welcome at any of our meetings.

For more information on Chiltern Humanists and Humanism generally, please go to our About us and Humanism pages. Enquirers are also most welcome to write to the Chairman, Adrian Wilde, at chair@chilternhumanists.org.uk. Details of membership will be provided by our Treasurer/Membership Secretary, Richard Jakeman at membership@chilternhumanists.org.uk.

Details of all our forthcoming events can be found on our Events page.

Information about Humanist funerals and other ceremonies can be found here.
